Gay Marriage in USA Update

Hey Masc Bi/Gay Dudes Followers! Yes, I am back! I've been busy since end of last year and I decided to take time away from blogging. Miss me at all? lol. I did miss blogging here.

Well good things have happened since my last post. I've been exploring dating guys more. I went on a few dates. No sparks but it's a start. I'm very comfortable with my sexuality. I will be coming out by end of this year to anybody that is close to me. It's going to be a good year. It's not like I'm going to blast it out there that I'm gay and I won't.

Gay Marriage discussion really heated up this past week in Supreme Court. It's positive that more Americans support equality. I still stand by my original stance. I believe it should be left to the states to decide because every state runs differently. We should let the people decide. I don't think the government should interfer if the states decide to go for gay marriage. That's how I feel. Even though I'm gay I still feel that way. Let the voters in each state decide.

I look forward to posting more. Stay tuned to more posts from me.

Hey

It has been a long while since I posted on here.  I am a lazy old man...arghhh! My life is changing.  It looks like I will get "let go" or I will quit at work.  I have been sitting up new web page and Facebook page for being out on my own, so to speak. I think it is time that I do this. So, over the next couple of months I will try and keep my position at work while starting out on my own. It is not that I do not like my job or the people I work with, it is I have a different frame of mind of how my job should be. There is a long back story here, and maybe I will lay it out here one day, but for now... wish me luck as I move into a whole new situation.

Boy Scouts

I like to be aware of gay rights related news. One of the recent stories that has caught my interest is the Boy Scout who was denied his Eagle Scout award because he is gay. He completed all the requirements, but because the Boy Scouts of America disallow gay people to be members or leaders, he was deemed unqualified. The decision was appealed, and a volunteer board made the brave decision to give him the award he had earned. However, one of the higher ups in the BSA organization has overridden their decision.

This is outrageous. For their own sake, I hope the BSA gets with modern times and puts a stop to their discriminatory practices. Otherwise they risk irrelevancy as society's views evolve. I shudder to think of the bullying that probably goes on due to the anti gay culture within the Boy Scouts.

Happy New Year!

Hey everyone, happy new year! I had a pretty good holiday. I didn't get to spend it with my boyfriend Ben since his family is on the east coast and mine is on the west coast, but we talked every day and video chatted several times. He got to meet my aunt and uncle via FaceTime, which was pretty cool.

Good to see that GDUSA has decided to keep this blog going. Looking forward to seeing what is in store for everyone's new year!
